The first six days of this year’s Advent of Code challenge are now written up at Study Q. I’ve trawled q solutions from multiple sources to extract maximum joy, and explored and discussed variations. The solution pages are written to help the rest of us learn from the star qbists, and they come with scripts and input files. Day 5 includes code to animate the solution in your console (thank you, Cillian!) and a GIF of the animation.
There is also a one-page listing of solutions in ‘exhibition’ form: terse and without explanation. It will scare and impress most of your friends – and inspire a few to learn q.
