Hi all,

AquaQ Analytics (www.aquaq.co.uk) today releases Version 2.0 of our free open source TorQ Framework for kdb+.

This update focuses on day-to-day tasks associated with managing a kdb+ application, providing significantly improved functionality around process monitoring, reporting and data management.

We are also pleased to release a free Finance Starter Pack, designed using a sample data feed, to show potential users how a production quality data capture system can easily and quickly be built on top of TorQ & kdb+.

Look out for news of our public webinars covering TorQ and the TorQ roadmap in June.

We shall be adding a free Introduction to TorQ course to our online training website shortly.

Also for political buffs out there, see our recent blog post and visualization of the UK elections night where we pulled data from betfair into TorQ http://www.aquaq.co.uk/q/uk-general-election-2015/

We would like to thank the members of the Kx community who have provided considerable feedback for this latest release. Additional feedback and suggestions for TorQ are always welcome via info@aquaq.co.uk.

Rgds,

Ronan

How do you pronounce TorQ? Thx.

Hi Yan

TorQ is supposed to be pronounced as “torque”.  Which corresponds perfectly *cough* with our company name AquaQ which we pronounce “Aqua Q”.

Thanks
